Shala has continued her education in the real estate business attending many Howard Brinton's Seminars. She has also obtained her Graduate of Real Estate Designation (GRI) and is a Broker. Shala believes that is she is not constantly keeping up with the changes in Real Estate, she cannot service her clients in the most professional way.

Shala and her husband, John, have been married for 12 years. They have 3 lovely children ages 10, 7 and 5. Children's activies include basketball, baseball, Cub Scouts, dancing, Girl Scouts, soccer, swimming and robotics.

Shala believes in community involvement. Her son was the "Ambassador of the Year" in 2013 for the March of Dimes. She also donates a percentage of each one of her transactions to the Children's Miracle Network.
